Google Screenwise Project Pays Users for Their Surfing Data

Google is building Screenwise , a new panel to learn more about how everyday people use the Internet. With the introduction of this tool, Chrome users to get paid to surf the web using the Chrome browser while sharing data with Google.
As a panelist, you’ll add a browser extensionthat will share with Google the sites you visit and how you use them. What Google learn from you, and others like you, will helpimprove Google products and services and make a better online experience for everyone.
Although Google did not announce anything about this project, Google has a page at www.google.com/landing/screenwisepanel .
Google screenwise page is entitled with ‘Help Us Make Google Better’ and it has the following data:

Amazon isn’t involved in the promotion; Google says it’s using the online research firm Knowledge Networks as its “panel management partner” for Screenwise.

Use IRCTC Confirmation SMS as Train Ticket



To increase the passengers convenience Indian Railways has decided topermit SMS confirmation sent by IRCTC containing vital details as a proof on par with the Electronic Reservation Slip (ERS).
The SMS sent by IRCTC will contain all essential data like the PNR number, names and numbers of passengers, coach and seat, date of journey, class and train number. The train passengers has to only carry a valid identity proof, and along with the SMS. The identity proof should be in original and together with the SMS, is valid enough. This has come into effect from 1st February, 2012and will take paperless ticketing to the next level.
If you accidently delete the message or lose the device, you can still continue the journeyby showing the identity proof and paying a penalty of Rs.50.
