Tips And Tricks To Protect Yourself FromHacking

This is my first post on this blog and the indeed the most important one.In this post I will be covering the basic things you should know to protect your computer from getting hacked by some.Remember if you follow these guidelines it will be extremely difficult for a hacker to enter intoyour pc and to hack your data.As today everything from banking, business, studies etc is online so the threat of being hacked isbecoming more and more dangerous.Ok,so listed below are the steps you should follow
Do Not Disclose Your IP Address
This the biggest mistake you could ever do.Never Disclose your IP address to anybody because ip address is the address of your computer.Once the hacker knows the address of your computer it will be easyfor him Enter into your home(computer) and steal your accessories ( data and passwords).
Do Not Download any Suspcious Software orAttachments
A lot of people search for cracks and keygens online.Remember this is most exploited method used by the hackers to hack into the pc(personal computer). They usually attach a keylogger or virus with the crack or the keygen.Once you download andinstall it then your data will be automatically sent to the hacker without your permission. And this might lead to a disaster if you are a online business man because your sensitive information such as paypal account information,e-mail account information can be sent to the hackers.
Use Good Antivirus And Firewall Program
Do not depend upon windows firewall to protect yourself from online hackers. It is always a wise decision to use a good firewall program and do install a good antivirus program. If you dont have enough money right now go for the free antivirus and firewall program but make sure that you have a updated antivirus and a firewall
installed on your computer.
Use Secure Passwords (3D passwords)
Always use 3D passwords to protect your accounts from getting hacked.Your password must contain digits, special symbols like underscore( _ ) and characters.Do not use small passwords.Yourpassword should be at least eight characters long in length.
Always logout From Your Accounts
You should always logout from your accounts instead of closing the browser window directly because whenever you login into your account a cookie is placed bythe server into your account and when you logout this cookie is deleted. If you do not logout and the cookie is not deleted the hacker might gain access to this cookie and then he would be able to login into your account from his pc.
Make backup Of Your Data
Some viruses are made to destory your dataso it is always advisable to store your data in a backup file.various good data backup programs are available on the internet.

What Is RSS?How It is Useful For Bloggers and Readers

RSS is very popular among bloggers and readers.RSS stands for Realy Simple Syndication .It is used for distribution of content to wide niche audiences. Its origin can be traced back to 1999 but it struck the limelight after Microsoft and Opera decided to adopt the Rss Feed icon in their browsers.RSS files are essentially XML formatted plain text.
How RSS is Useful For Readers?
Everyday a regular Internet surfer reads many new blogs and articles. If you really find some interesting blogs either you can bookmark them or Subscribe to RSS feeds to stay in touch with the latest updates of the blog.
Why RSS Subscription is Better than Bookmarking?
RSS is relatively convenient than bookmarking because the latest posts ( or excerpt ) can be delivered directly into your email inbox. You don’t have to visit over andagain to check for new posts.
If you haven’t subscribed to RSS you have tomanage a large bookmarking list of favourite websites and keep on visiting them to check for new updates. This is not appropriate as
*. You have to check a lot of websites each day
*. You may get frustrated if the blogs are not updated frequently as you will find same posts each day
*. You may miss some crucial updates if you don’t check the blogs regularly.
How RSS is Useful For Blogger?
RSS is also helpful to bloggers as their content get syndicated to wide and loyal audience who have subscribed to blog.Bloggers can also send exclusive updates to their email subscribers without posting the content on their blogs.
As the the bloggers have Email list of Niche audiences they can promote products which are relevant to its audiences and generate some cash.
Note:- You shouldn’t subscribe to each and every blog that you visit as it will fill your email with hundreds of daily updates.

Generate QR Codes for Wikipedia Articles Using QRPedia

QRpedia is a mobile Web based system which uses QR codes to deliver Wikipedia articles to users, in their preferred language. QR codes can easily be generated to link directly to any Uniform Resource Identifier (URI), butthe QRpedia system adds further functionality.
You need to only paste a wikipedia URL into the box givenin the website to create a language-detecting mobile friendly QR code.
Process
When a user scans a QRpedia QR code on their mobile device, the device decodes the QR code into a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) using the domain name “qrwp.org” and whose path (final part) is the title of a Wikipedia article, and sends a request for the article specified in the URL to the QRpedia Web server. It also transmits the language setting of the device.
The QRpedia server then uses Wikipedia’s API to determine whether there is a version of the specified Wikipedia article in the language used by the device, and if so, returns it in a mobile-friendly format. If there is no version of the article available in the preferred language, then the QRpedia server offers a choice of the available languages, or a Google translation.
In this way, one QRcode can deliver the same article in many languages, even when the museum is unable to make its own translations. QRpedia also records usage statistics.

Link Building Tips For Blog Commenting To Increase Traffic

Each day a large number of blogs are created with the aim to garner high traffic. The competition is stiff than ever as with increase in number of bloggers the competition is also increasing.Search engines have become more intelligent as they no longer depend upon keywords and meta description to rank webpages.SEO has evolved with passing time and it is now more wider and vast.If you are beginner and looking to earn a living with blogging then it won’t be possible unless you have done a good optimization of your blog.
Seo involves repetitive tasks and high degree of research. The results are not visible within days sometimes it takes weeks or eve months to reapwhat you sowed in SEO feild. If you don’t feel likelearning Seo then your best bet is to outsource your work. You will literally find thousands of SEO professionals on freelancing websites promising first page google rankings.
Here are some link building techniques that will enhance quality of your link building campaign and you can observe a boost in rankings.
*. Try to diversify your Anchor text.Figure out few(minimum 10-15) keywords that are related to your blog and build links using these keywords
*. You can also build links using synonyms.According to my case study Google recognizes synonyms.Consider you have a domain with a synonym of your main keyword then build links using your main keyword.
*. Don’t build all links with keywords as anchor text instead also use some generic words like names etc to make it look more natural.
*. Don’t post generic comments as they are reported spam by most of the bloggers and youmay get blacklisted by Akismet and other spam control plugins and once you are banned your campaign will be almost over.
*. Post comments on Pages that are relevant to your website. It help in increasing your niche authority.
*. Don’t ever post comments using automated tools for link building campaign of your main website. It will do more harm than good.
*. Try to include your keywords in your comments(if possible) and post relevant comments.
*. Don’t go for a complete Dofollow link building campaign. You campaign should have a mixtureof dofollow and nofollow blogs.
*. Try to maintain your link building velocity. It will look highly suspicious to search engines if suddenly hundreds of comments are published pointing to your website.
*. If your website is new then you need to be extra cautious and you should build links slowly to stay under the radar.
Link building is no longer measured in terms of quantity instead it is more about quality. It can boost your rankings but if it is not done carefully then you may end up in Google Sandbox.
Note:- It is natural if your rankings falls during your link building campaign. This is known as Google dance and an evidence that Google is indexing your backlinks.Keep up the link building campaign with same velocity and you will bounce back harder

Difference between Edge and Gprs

Edge vs GPRS
EDGE or Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution is a digital mobile phone technology attuned backwards. This technology, also termed as Enhanced GPRS or Enhanced Data rates for Global Evolution or IMT Single Carrier makes superior data transmission rates possible. This happens as an extension adding to the standard GSM technology. It is a 3G Radio technology and also belongs to the 3G definition owned by the ITU. On the other hand GPRS or General Packet Radio Service is a mobile data service that is essentially packet oriented. This technology can be availed by users opting to the 2G and 3G communication systems of the global system for mobile communications or GSM.

Further enhancements to GSM networks are provided by Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution (EDGE) technology. EDGE provides up to three times the data capacity of GPRS. Using EDGE, operators can handle three times more subscribers than GPRS; triple their data rate per subscriber, or add extra capacity to their voice communications. EDGE uses the same TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) frame structure, logic channel and 200kHz carrier bandwidth as today's GSM networks, which allows it to be overlaid directly onto an existing GSM network. For many existing GSM/GPRS networks, EDGE is a simple software-upgrade.

EDGE allows the delivery of advanced mobile services such as the downloading of video and music clips, full multimedia messaging, high-speed colour Internet access and e-mail on the move.

Given the recent technological updates it has become more than obvious that EDGE is a technology which is not just going to bring it hard on the GPRS technology but surpass it as well. This is precisely so because EDGE gives the users the inimitable chance to increase the throughput capacity and the data speed at least 3 to 4 times higher to what GPRS offers. Moreover, EDGE also allows the existing TDMA and GSM carriers to provide the much needed and sophisticated 3G services. EDGE provides a single symbol for each 3 bits. So there itself what becomes evident is the EDGE rate is single handedly 3 times that of the GPRS rate. It has a higher bit rate precisely because the technology is based on a modulation structure of 8PSK. Hence the bit rate improves over the air Interface. As the very name suggests, EDGE is the enhanced and upgraded form of GPRS surpassing it in a number of technical aspects.
GPRS is unable to allow the service providers and operators to have an access to extended wireless data application which is otherwise possible with the use of EDGE. With EDGE it is possible to access web based email, wireless multimedia, the upgraded technology of video conferencing which is a ground breaking procedure, and not to forget web based infotainment as well. GPRS is unable to offer the entire assortment. Further more the evolved form of EDGE exists with Release 7 as well of the 3GP standard, provides decreased latency and a performance level that is two times higher than the prior form

Summary:
1. EDGE stands for Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution whereas GPRS stands for General Packet Radio Service.
2. EDGE is a digital mobile phone technology but GPRS is a mobile data service.
3. EDGE allows existing TDMA and GSM carriers to provide 3G services whereas GPRS allows both 2G and 3G communication systems

Make Your Own Radio Station

Must HAVE Winamp (Any Version)
First, things First your speed has to be at least 256/64 kbps (which means Dial-up users, will have alot of latency, just dnt bother)
Second, your going to have to have a domain, an updated one with the current i.p active. (Could be anything e.g. My sig)

Now, Your gonna have to download the Shoutcast Files.

Go to www.shoutcast.com to get the files.

Ok After downloading these, installing Both of them in any order i dnt care. Go to START>PROGRAM FILES>SHOUTcast DNAS>EDIT SHOUTCAST DNS CONFIG.

Ok your gonna have to Configure it:
Go Down and where it says password: change (that means your gonna have to change it to whatever, make sure u remember)
The Portbase: change it to whatever port you want it
Maxusers: (lets be realistic here, dnt put in 10000, like NXS's radio station) your bandwidth has to be extremely good, if your cable, 50 user max is ok, ADSL should stay below 10 users, and T1 connections should do whatever tickles there fantasy.

Open winamp, RIGHT CLICK>OPTIONS>PREFRENCES>DSP EFFECT>and choose the NULLSOFT SHOUTCAST.

Go to OUTPUT, and then click on Connection, Through the ADDRESS, type your address which you have done through www.no-ip.com, PORT NUMBER, whatever u did in the EDIT.txt, and your password.

Then go to Encoder, and choose your quality of your music. Go back to OUTPU>OUTPUT CONFIG>YELLOW PAGES. this is your advertisement information. now whatever u like there

Now Connect. to check that your Radio os on-line go to http://(your address that you added in the preference)
